Do you have asian eyes with no lashes?  If you have straight, wimpy lashes…I feel for you, I really do.  I’ve searched high and low for a solution to this problem of mine–and found it!

The trick is having the right tools for the job and the right technique.  What do you need?

1. Quality eyelash curler.  Shiseido or Shu Umera are the best.  Which brand will depend on which fits your eye shape better.
2. Eyelash primer (Shisedo is a must)

Technique Tips:

1. Use a blow dryer to heat the eyelash curler for a few seconds.  Heat holds the curl longer.
2. Curl your lashes in 3 sections.  First, clamp the eyelash curler close to the roots of your lashes for 30 seconds, then the middle of the lashes, then toward the tips.  This will avoid a crimped look.
3. Do not use too much primer or mascara — they’ll weigh your lashes and curl down.
4. Start with clean lashes before curling (no mascara or primer yet).

You don’t have to deal with those wimpy lashes anymore.  Before I had given up, since the old way’s “curl” would last for about 5 minutes.  By now that I’m using these tools and tips, my straight lashes hold a beautifully with sky high, curled lashes all day!

Gwen Stefani’s celebrity makeup look wouldn’t be complete without her flawless skin. Even if you don’t have her creamy complexion and perfect skin, you can fake it and look like a star.

Here’s how to make your skin look flawless like Gwen Stefani:

1. On a clean face, apply a small amount of light moisturizer and then a primer. A primer is key to creating a smooth palette that holds your makeup well all day.
2. Using a concealer brush, apply concealer that exactly matches your skin color. Brush it onto any spots or blemishes and onto your eyelids. Blend lightly with your fingers.
3. Use a powder brush to apply a small amount of foundation powder and/or face powder. Be sure to tap the brush to remove excess powder before applying. Apply one layer with a light hand–don’t overdo it or you’ll get a cakey look.
4. Apply an undereye concealer under your eyes. It should be one shade lighter than your face.

And now you have the a primed canvas for gorgeous makeup color. Finish the rest of your makeup with lined eyes and ruby red lips for a picture perfect Gwen Stefani celebrity makeup look.
